Maple Street Media is a student run public relations firm operated through Champlain College's chapter of the Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA). The firm draws on the talents and experiences of students from all different walks of the college to provide services in graphic design, social media marketing, copywriting, and more.

Maple Street Media Director
Riley Seith is an upperclass marketing major with a double minor in event management and public relations. She has extensive experience leading teams and working on events. She seeks new experiences currently learning more about social media, digital marketing, and trying her hand at entrepreneurship with the development of a new app.
Social Media Strategy Executive
Mackenzie George, social media marketer and content creator. She is a marketing major with specializations in digital marketing and integrated advertising. Experience with Adobe Suite and graphic design, as well as web development. Mackenzie has completed projects such as a full digital audit and is currently working on development of an app.
Karen Canavan is a third-year marketing major with a minor in event management. She has held several leadership positions on campus, including the role of Vice President of the student-run organization, CHAMP, which plans and hosts on-campus events. She was a founding member and has served as the first director of communications of the American Marketing Association Champlain College chapter, and is the college's PRSSA chapter secretary. She has also held marketing internships at Marriott International, Burlington Business Association, and the Vermont Dance Alliance. Karen has excellent organizational skills and is highly-dependable and creative.
Media Relations Executive
Lauren Materia is an upperclass communication major with a specialization in public relations with a minor in event management. Lauren is also the Vice President of PRSSA. She has experience with crafting press releases, media kits, as well as putting together mock campaigns. Lauren seeks new experiences by learning more about the different types of writing for public relations, production of social media, and developing event sponsorships.
Brand Strategy Executive
Gabrielle Mastropolo is a third-year marketing major with a minor in public relations. She has a diverse background with experience ranging in industries from interior architecture to makeup and fashion. She is currently looking to expand her knowledge in brand strategy, digital marketing, and copywriting. Gabrielle is also the President of the PRSSA.
Brand Strategy Associate
Mila Alicea is a marketing major at Champlain College. She has 3 years worth of experience as a social media specialist. In these last years, she has worked in a consulting firm for start-up businesses and businesses looking to rebrand. She is a hardworking individual and will easily please any client.
Social Media Strategy Associate
Hanna Blankenship is a freshman Business Major who is also double majoring in Law. She specializes in social media and marketing along with writing articles. Even as a freshman, Hanna has experience leading teams and working on projects such as creating a business model pitch for a local business, promoting an upcoming festival/conference by writing articles, and creating a product pitch for a design she created. She is comfortable utilizing all forms of social media and working directly with clients to form a strong relationship.
Lauren Blake is a third year communication major, specializing in public relations and minoring in marketing. She has experience in writing press releases and other PR materials, as well as Adobe Suite, and event management. Lauren has strong ties to the arts and is a believer in the power storytelling can hold.
Abbey Berger-Knorr is a first year Communication major planning on double minoring in Global Studies and Marketing and specializing in Public Relations and Strategic Communications. Abbey holds the position of Marketing and Media Production Assistant at Champlain College's library. She has experience with the production of social media content, marketing materials, and video production.
Katherine McGuckin is an upper-class Communication major with a specialization in Public Relations. She is open to new experiences and fostering connections with others. Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, writing, and intermediate video production. Katherine is currently developing a network of connections and is seeking exciting opportunities.
Morgan Thibodeau is a visual communication design major. They have experience in developing brand identities and creating graphics in Adobe Suite. They are seeking experience working with social media, web development, and brand identities.
Alexander Burch is a third-year visual communication designer with a wide array of experience working with professionals from varying fields. He has worked with a diverse group of companies, in Architecture, Education, and Cybersecurity. Alex is also highly proficient with Adobe Suite and has plenty of experience with photography. He is always looking for outlets where he can express his creativity.
Content Creation Associate
Preston Banas, a student focused on creative content creation. He is a communications major. He has experience with Adobe Premiere and has some studio productions skills. Currently Preston is working on writing a series of poems.

Karina Miranda is a Marketing and Communications Major with a Specialization in Content Strategy. Experience with Adobe Suite, project management, and social media. Karina has completed projects such a developing a sales catalog for a local business and planning live Instagram sales. Karina seeks to gain more experience in media relations and brand management.
